Men’s Sheds are similar to garden sheds – a place to pursue practical interests at leisure, to practice skills and enjoy making and mending. The difference is that garden sheds and their activities are often solitary in nature while Men’s Sheds are the opposite. They’re about social connections and friendship building, sharing skills and knowledge, and of course a lot of laughter.

The Brading Men's Shed has its home at the Brading Youth and Community Centre. The intention of this shed is to assist the Brading Community Partnership, which is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), to make the centre an integral part of the wider Brading community. The Shed brings together men from the area to help maintain and improve the building and its equipment as well as using space at the centre for other projects and and activities. We meet every Thursday, 10-12 noon. Please wear suitable clothing (for activities, such as painting). You can just turn up on the day, or of you would like to talk, please get in touch on our Contact page.
